Slow-Cooked Curries and Biryanis at Red Bridge

Some dishes cannot be hurried, and our curries are the proof.
When we say slow-cooked, we mean it. In our kitchen, a curry is not rushed to the table. It is given time in the pan, stirred and tasted and left to come together, until the flavours have settled into each other.
What Slow-Cooked Means to Us
It means patience. The pans sit on the stove and the sauces are given the time they need, so that what lands on your table has real depth.
A good curry is built in layers, and each layer needs its moment in the pan before the next goes in.
On a busy evening you might see saag paneer and butter chicken coming together side by side on the stove, each in its own pan.

That is why the kitchen smells the way it does by the time the first tables fill. You will notice it as you walk in.
The Curries on the Table
Butter chicken is a classic, rich and comforting, and a good place to begin.

Saag paneer brings something green and gentle to the table. Dal makhani is deep and satisfying, served in a metal bowl with a dried chilli on top. Kadai curry arrives in its own kadai bowl, bright red and fragrant. Order a few, since they are made to be shared.

Then comes the biryani, a bowl finished with red onion rings and chillies. It is the dish that turns a curry night into a feast.

Our favourite way to eat here is the way the food is meant to be eaten: all together. Order a few curries and a biryani, add freshly baked naan, set everything in the middle of the table and let people reach across.
Take a spoonful of biryani, add a ladle of curry beside it, and tear off a piece of naan to finish.
Sharing slows a meal down in the best way. Plates get passed, someone insists you try the dal, and the evening stretches out.
