An Easy Space for a Kids' Party

Hosting a party at home can mean a lot of planning and a long clean-up. At Red Bridge you can host on the Terrace and let us look after the rest.

The Terrace is an outdoor patio with wooden tables, black and white woven chairs and potted palms, with large black umbrellas for shade. It feels relaxed and open, a good place for little ones to gather.

Dark wooden tables and woven chairs sit under the umbrellas, bordered by palms, so the whole space feels like a garden room open to the sky.

Parties here come with an easy rhythm. Guests arrive, settle at the tables, and the day unfolds without anyone needing to play host in the kitchen. You get to be a guest at your own party.

Families Together

A kids' party is really a party for the whole family. Parents, grandparents, aunties and friends all need somewhere to sit, a drink and something good to eat, and the Terrace gives everyone a seat at the table.

Picture a group of children posing together for the photo, and the grown-ups chatting nearby. That is the kind of day we like to see in our dining area.

Families have celebrated with us indoors too, children and adults dining and socialising in a brightly lit restaurant at night, the room full of conversation.

Children tend to find their own fun, and parents tend to find a seat and a coffee or a cold drink. That is the beauty of a relaxed space. We like a party with a bit of noise and a lot of laughter, and an open terrace has room for both.

The Kitchen Looks After Everyone

The kitchen is the heart of Red Bridge. Our Indian kitchen cooks tandoori meats in the tandoor, slow-cooked curries, biryanis and freshly baked naan, all easy to share around a big table.

By day, the cafe serves free-range eggs, house-baked pastries, corn fritters and more, so a morning or lunchtime party has plenty to choose from.

The cafe is open daily from 7am to 2:30pm, with last order at 2pm. The Indian restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, 5pm to 10pm, with last dine-in order at 9:15pm.
